How is the ZERORISK Assessment administered?
The assessment can be administered via the Internet. The candidate is provided an access code to log in to the administration website and enter their access code to complete the assessment. It can also be administered using paper and pencil or an e-mail template.
Can a candidate take the assessment from home?
Yes, candidates can take the assessment anywhere there is Internet access. Because the assessment is designed not to have right or wrong answers, the integrity of the results remains high, removing concerns about whether or not the candidate was indeed the individual who actually completed the assessment.
How long does it take to complete the assessment?
The assessment usually takes 15-20 minutes to complete.
When can I expect to receive the assessment results?
The assessment results are automatically e-mailed to the hiring manager within seconds of the candidate completing the assessment.
What languages is the assessment available in?
The assessment is currently available in the following languages: English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Italian, French, and Swedish. If you need the assessment in a language that is not listed, please contact us to discuss custom options.
When should ZERORISK Assessment be retaken?
We are often asked when it is appropriate to retake the ZERORISK assessment. In almost every case, the answer is not to retake the assessment. The only time the assessment should be retaken is if the results come back as unreliable.
The Hiring Process
At what point in the hiring process should the assessment be administered?
The assessment should be administered early in the interview process. It is recommended that your company conduct an initial round of interviews (e.g. phone interviews) to narrow the field down to the most qualified candidates. Most clients administer the profile before the first or second interview. The key is to remain consistent in the part of the hiring process that your company administers the assessment.
How can the ZERORISK Assessment help me conduct candidate interviews?
Part of the assessment results includes a behavioral interview guide, complete with specific interview questions that are customized for each candidate and designed to expose strengths and weaknesses by asking behavioral-based questions.
Is the ZERORISK Assessment valid and legal to use?
The ZERORISK Assessment meets all legal guidelines and is in total conformance with the ADA and EEOC regulations. All of the validation studies comply with the American Psychological Association's guidelines for analysis of psychometric instruments and follow industry standard procedures for statistical analysis. Statistics indicate that when objective assessment tools are properly used to make hiring or development decisions, these tools actually reduce exposure to "adverse impact" claims.
